Here is a pic of a couple of dreamcather key fobs I made for my wife and a friend. I used 450 paracord that I ordered from www.vtarmynavy.com I picked up the big key rings from a local locksmith. This was my second attempt at this.
A friend of mine asked me to make a necklace for him. I did the diamond back braid and attached it to a 1/2 in. side release buckle. Turned out good and seems to be popular.
The steering wheel cover just stretches around and does not fit tight. I was asked to wrap it if I could. I made it just like a dreamcatcher but only made 2 passes inside.
This a pic of a neck knife I made for my wife. I also wrapped the handle.

Here is a pic of some knife lanyards and a couple of bracelets that match 2 of them. These were all requested items. All the knives I used are Columbia River Knife And Tool products. Several vendors offer these knives. I search the web for the best prices.

Lanyard For A Neck Knife

This is a pic of a neck lanyard I made for a knife I ordered from www.knifedealsplus.com . It's a simple square knot braid with a 3/8" side release buckle. It looks good and is very easy to get to when needed.

Snake Knot Key Fob

Find the center of your cords and place on a ring. I started out with a lanyard knot. Take the 2 back strands and pull them out to the side as shown in the pic.
Take the strand to the left across the front and around all three of the other strands..

Take the strand to the right and go behind the other cords as shown and through the loop on the right side.

Pull it tight and it should look like this.

Repeat steps 2,3 and 4 until you reach desired length. I like to use the lanyard knot to finish for looks. I hope this helps anyone having trouble.

Here are pics of a matching dog collar and leash I made. I used black and brown 450 paracord. The collar is done using the king cobra stitch and attatching to a 1" side release buckle. The leash is done using a diamondback braid. I think they will hold up for a long time with the material I used. The leash is 5' long and the collar is 20 1/2" . The dog this was made for has a 19 1/2" neck so there is a little room so it doesn't fit to tight.

A friend of mine asked me about putting dog tags on a bracelet. This is a couple of pics at my first attempt. The wide bracelet is from a tutorial I found on Storm Dranes blog. I don't think there's alot that can be done to put tags on it and this is the best idea I could come up with for now. It allows you to pull them out if needed and then placed back so they don't dangle around. If anybody comes up with anymore ideas I'd like to see it......please.

This is a dog collar I made for a friend of mine. I used about 50' of paracord to make it. I used a 1" metal side release buckle that I ordered from country brook design. There's 6 strands for the core. It is made the same as the watch band on Storm Dranes blog.

This is a pic of a snake knot bracelet I made and used a small flat breakaway to finish it. This was my first attempt at the snake knot.
Here are a couple of monkey fist and a spiral braid. I tucked one end of the monkey fist and used the other end and did a series of half hitches to finish.
This is a pic of a king cobra bracelet I made for a friend. I used a solid piece of red 450 for the core srands and the cobra stitch. I pulled the nylon core out of the black and did the cobra stitch again. The black lays flat without the core and the spaces allowed the red to show pretty good. He is a Georgia Bulldog fan.
This is a neck lanyard I made for my daughter to put her keys on. I used her school colors so it would match her uniform. I started with a lanyard knot and used a cobra stitch then split into two cobra stitches and connected to a flat breakaway clip. Turned out nice and she was happy.

This is the handle of a 1907 wilkinson bay. It belongs to my father and he asked me if I could wrap the handle. I used a long 2 bight turks head done in camo. 450 paracord. I think he will like it.

This is a pic of another mat I made for my wife. She wanted one a little bigger than the first one I made. As you can see I made 7 passes on this ocean plait. Same rope I used on the first one. I bought it at Lowes. I believe it was 1/2 " .
Picture of some key fobs done in a snake knot. I also tied a lanyard knot at the beginning and the end of these also. It seems easier to use two colors this way.

This is a neck lanyard I made for a friend of mine. He got for a buddy of his to use for a whistle. I used a flat 3/8" breakaway clip that I ordered from www.countrybrookdesign.com
This is a snake knot key fob. I tied a lanyard knot at the beginning and the end. Tying the lanyard knot allowed me to use 2 colors.

As most people know by now knot tying is an addiction. The handle on my thermos broke so I decided to make one. It tuned out pretty good and looks nice. It took me awhile on this one. I used close to 100' of paracord and probably 4 1/2 hrs to complete.
